"My Life In School~"

English 30-1 its going to be challenging for me, because it's the third language that I'm learning and of course its not easy thing. I hope to get good marks because i really want to enter into a good university, but regardless the good marks i hope to learn more vocabulary and improve my writing skills everyday. I hope to read good books in this class~~


I love world religions, cultures of the world and social studies as well as French and English, but i also enjoy learning physics.
World religions and Cultures helped me to learn about the people around me, as most of my friend came from overseas i enjoy learning about what they believe or what they despite so i can have a great conversation with them. My motto in life is " Diversity, not assimilation."

I must say that Social Studies its my favorite class, i love getting lost in history, specially wars, i know its a little bit weird but i love learning about Hitler's, Stalin and Kim Yong IL Backgrounds. My favorite unit in that class is Dictatorships. I can talk about world war II and the Japanese internment for days and days.

My favorite assignment was back in Montreal, when we first learned about World War II. We had to read everything and made an scrapbook, with images. My topic was the Japanese interment, we had to watch "Pearl Harbor" and "Saving Private Ryan", which became my favorite movies. And finally we had to made the scrapbook out of newspaper and recycled paper showing the history in images. I liked it because it was amazing how many photographs we actually found on google.

I have to say that i like all my teachers, some probably more than others but i think that we can learn a little about everyone, people who say that they don't like their teachers its because they're not paying attention at the professor. I like learning from every teacher, because they spend so many time learning for us that it will be a shame is we don't pay attention to them.

Who am i?

This is a very difficult questions, I'm a person formed by little pieces of others, like a puzzle. Out of my parents, my friends my teachers and every person i know. I'm a really shy person and i don't like to talk because i like listening. i don't like to speak out loud because i like keeping my ideas for myself. I am a Mexican person in Canada, who speaks Spanish and french, part of my soul rests in Montreal, where i lived more than 3 years, I'm in love with that city. I don't like my first name, but i love my middle name because my mother named me after an opera singer, Andrea Bocelli. So you can always call me Andrea. I believe i was born in a wrong epoch.

What i like about myself?

I guess i like my capacity to learn languages and my ability to focus in one thing at a time. I appreciate about myself that i don't care what others think about my appearance, because i believe that school its not for showing off, what matters it's what u have in your head. As Andy Warhol one said...

" Don't pay any attention to what they write about you. Just measure it in inches"

what i do well in life?

I dont know, but i always try my best in everything.

My passions? ARTS, i once dreamed about being an artist, a painter just like Andy Warhol or Salvador Dali.

MUSIC, every song i like remainds me of something or someone or a place i've been. I belive music define us. My favorite bands are The velvet underground and ironically BigBang (a korean pop male band) The velvet underground makes me feel like a human being, Venus in Furs marked a part of my life, when i though that it was the end of it but then i found out that death its one of the most embarrasing things that can happen, because people most take care about you, and it would be a waste of time. And i like bigbang because the music makes me smile~

Future Life?

The future is unsure, who knows what will happen in the next 5 minutes?
But i like portaying myself in a simple house, with a green plant, white walls and ceiling, and a family to take care of. i really would like to work in the japanese kamikaze museum.

Fears?

Losing my mother, father (even though he is far away from us) or my sisters its what makes me more fearful, i dont care what happen to me, but my family is the most important and beautiful thing that ever happen to me, having a father like the one i have even though he is not my biological father and a caring and wonderful mother like mine makes me fear about something happening to them. Not being proud of myself at the end of my days makes me fearful as well.
